The Egypt midfielder confirmed on Sunday that he will join Egyptian champions Ahli after Strasbourg rejected Ismaili's offer to land him permanently.
The French Ligue1 side decided to axe Ismaili from the three-way tussle involving Ahli and Zamalek to sign Abd-Rabou, after the Dervishes failed to pay the due amount of the transfer on time.
However, Ismaili football director Sayed Abdul-Razek claims that the amount was delivered, and that the club started taking the case to FIFA.
"We sent the transfer fees of Abd-Rabou to Strasbourg, but they refused to receive it, so we filed a complaint to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), and the EFA should forward the case to FIFA," Abdul-Razek told reporters on Monday.
"We believe that Abd-Rabou should play for us, and the player has no right to move without Ismaili's permission
Ismaili were obliged to pay 500,000 Euros to Strasbourg at the deadline of June 15th in order to acquire the on-loan midfielder permanently, but the French side insisted that nothing was delivered.
