
Spanish champion Rafael Nadal showed a great fight back as he came back from a two-set deficit to beat Russian Mikhail Youzhny 3-2 in five sets Thursday and reach the Wimbledon quarterfinals.
Nadal was down during the first two sets 4-6 and 3-6 before the World’s number two showed his real quality in the next three sets 6-1, 6-2, 6-2.
"After the first two sets, the next three sets maybe I play my best game on grass in my life," Nadal said.
In the quarterfinals, the Spaniard will face Tomas Berdych. World No. 1 Roger Federer will play against Juan Carlos Ferreros, American Andy Roddick will face Frenchman Richard Gasquet and Novak Djokovic will play against Marcos Baghdatis.
