Elsewhere in the group, Zambia beat Uruguay 2-0 to book their last 16 place, Uruguay, who have four points, also go through as one of four best third-placed nations.
Another African team joined Zambia into the next round, as Nigeria finished second of Group F on seven points after a goalless draw with Japan, who also have seven points and qualified as group leaders.
