"We have signed a valid contract with Benzarti. He didn't respect the agreement and went to Libya. We intend to file a complaint to the Tunisian Federation and then go to FIFA," said the Tunisian boss to daily La Presse.
Benzarti quit Esperance after only one game leading them in their 2-0 defeat in the CAF Champions League from Hilal. The Tunisian tactician signed a three-year-contract with Libya in order to take control of their national team.
"It wasn't just a contract we had a gentleman agreement with Benzarti but he blew it up and now we are going to deal with it in the best of our interest. Anyway for now Larbi Zouaoui is going to lead the team in Egypt."
Esperance have a crucial encounter against Ahli in the CAF Champions League in Cairo next Friday.
