Sudanese giants Hilal extended their unbeaten home run to 90 matches after crushing Al-Mawreda 3-0 at Omdurman in the local league on Friday.

Mozambique midfielder Dario Khan opened the score line two minutes past the hour mark before Nigeria's Kelechi Osunwa doubled the lead ten minutes from time.

Osunwa's compatriot Ndubuisi Eze completed the rout in stoppage time as Hilal maintained their impressive run of form.

Hilal are on top of the league table with 37 points, six ahead of second-placed Al-Merrikh who have one game in hand.

The Blue wave, who are second in Group B of the CAF Champions League behind leaders Ahli, have not lost at home for over five years.
