Egyptian defender Ibrahim Saied is on the verge of a move to Ankaragucu after the club made a $150 000-offer to his team Rizespor.

"I had many offers but I chose Ankaragucu for technical and financial reasons," said Saied to FilGoal.com

"I was approached by some Egyptian clubs but I will only be back to play for Ahli or Zamalek. I had also some good offers from the Gulf but I preferred to stay in Turkey to continue my European adventure.”

Saied has been linked to moves to Ahli and Zamalek since the beginning of the summer and said in many occasions that he is open to any offers especially that he is not quit satisfied in his current team.

"Rize is a very small town and that’s why I wanted to leave. Ankara is a very big city and I won’t feel lonely. In addition that the team has a better ranking in Turkish soccer," added the former Ahli and Zamalek player.

The 26-year-old international defender will get back to Turkey in the next few hours to complete the move.
