Tottenham Hotspur Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' said that he is back in training with the club after his move to Birmingham City fell through.

"After the Birmingham move collapsed, I am training regularly with Tottenham for now," Mido told FilGoal.com exclusively on Wednesday.

The newly-promoted Blues were close to signing the Egypt international, but apparently his contract demands hampered the transfer.

Mido revealed that until he receives another offer he is a Spurs player, but the unsettled forward did not rule out an exit from White Hart Lane.

"I still have until the end of August to receive other offers, but if that if that didn't happen, then I have a contract at Spurs and I guess I have no option but to stay for this season," he added.

The 24-year-old striker struggled to establish a regular place in Martin Jol's starting eleven last season, with the superb pairing of Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane dominating the frontline.

Moreover, Darren Bent's arrival from Charlton this summer weakened Mido's chances and reinforced his eagerness to leave the club in order to play first team football.
