Egyptian Olympic team winger Amr Al-Halawani, who plays for Apollon Kalamaria, looks to be on his way back to Egypt after a one-year spell with the Greek side.

Halawani's agent revealed that the 20-year-old winger has his own reasons that could force his way back to the Egyptian league.

"Halawani is willing to leave Kalamaria and return to the Egyptian league next season," the player's agent told FilGoal.com.

"The move could be largely affected by an obligation to complete his military duty, which is the same reason why Ahmed Magdi left Atromitos."

Magdi, who was Halawani's former teammate at Ahli youth team, joined Ahli's arch rivals Zamalek from Atromitos last week.

Egypt internationals Hosni Abd-Rabou and Mahmoud Abdul-Razek 'Shikabala' have faced a series of problems with Strasbourg and PAOK Saloniki respectively due to their military commitments, and Al-Halawani hopes to avoid such complications.

Moreover, Al-Halawani's agent stated that the player is staring to feel a bit lonely after all his compatriots have left the Greek league.
