The duo signed a one-year extension with Ittihad at the end of last season, but Omar decided release them this summer.
However, the club failed to re-collect the first installments received by both players, who are both set for a further stay.
"Hanafi and Yamani will stay because they refused to repay their first installments they have received to the club," the Ittihad coach told FilGoal.com.
On the other hand, Omar revealed that he rejected an offer to coach Jordanian outfit Al-Hussein as he is under contract with Ittihad.
"I rejected Al-Hussein offer because I am totally committed to Ittihad, but I advised the Jordanian club to hire Mamdouh 'Ouka' for the job," he said
Ittihad have ended their preparations for the new season with friendlies against relegated sides Olympic and Asyut Petroleum.
