Will Abdi get back to Tunisia?

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have set a one-week deadline for Zamalek in order to resolve their row with Tunisian side Sfaxien over the transfer of defender Wissem El-Abdi.

Zamalek claim that they have paid the due amount that enables them to keep the Tunisian defender on permanent basis, whilst Sfaxien insist that the player's loan at the Egyptian club has ended.

FA General Secretary Salah Hosni informed FilGoal.com that the association will be forced to take the case to FIFA if Zamalek failed to reach an agreement with Sfaxien.

Consequently, El-Abdi will be unavailable for Zamalek's opening league game against Ismaili on Monday.

Meanwhile, the EFA have accepted all the demands presented by veteran coach Mahmoud Al-Gohari in order to become the FA's new technical director.

The 70-year old has signed a contract and will start his new task in directing the Egyptian national teams for all ages.
