"They made an excellent, dizzying offer, but I'm under contract to Sevilla and my decision is to fulfill it," the Sevilla coach told a new conference on Wednesday.
Recent reports linked Ramos with a move to White Hart Lane, and the Spaniard confirmed the speculation, but stressed that there is no chance of accepting the offer.
"There was not the slightest possibility that I would accept it because I'm under contract. It did not interest me or the club," he confirmed.
"I wasn't in a meeting with anyone, what happened was that I met with a person and that person went on to meet other people who were surely Tottenham."
However, the Tottenham board gave Jol a vote of confidence in a statement on Wednesday morning, claiming that no offers were made to other managers to replace the Dutchman.
Ramos did a marvelous job with the Sevillistas during the past two seasons, including two straight UEFA Cup and Spanish Cup trophies.
"We are in the middle of a great project with Sevilla and there is still work to do," the Sevilla coach added.
