"The fans' support was pivotal for Zamalek's comeback win, they stood by the team until the final whistle," the Dutch manager told the post-match press conference.
"We snatched a valuable victory, which will boost the players' morale following our defeat to Ismaili in the league opener."
Zamalek came from a goal down to claim a precious victory over the newly-promoted Al-Baladeya, their first in the league, thanks to an acrobatic strike by Amr Zaki and an own goal from Ayman Khalil.
"Zaki is the best striker in Egypt; he was brilliant in the match and made a huge contribution to the win," Krol added.
The 58-year-old said things will get better when midfielder Mohamed Aboul-Ella returns after completing a two-match suspension.
