Trabzonspor produced a 5-1 drubbing of Caykur Rizespor in the third match day of the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

The game was played behind closed doors as Trabzon fans serve a three-match ban from home games, following crowd trouble in the opening day against Sivasspor.

Egyptian midfielder Ayman Abdul-Aziz, who was introduced as a second half substitute in Trabzon’s last two games, played full 90 minutes for the home side.

Umut Bulut and Ceyhun Eris both scored twice, as Turkey midfielder Gokdeniz Karadeniz completed the rout with his second goal in two games.

Trabzon have six points from two games, while Rize, where Egyptian duo Beshir Al-Tabie and Ibrahim Saied played last season, remain pointless at rock bottom with.

Elsewhere, Konyaspor grabbed a 1-1 draw at Ankaraspor after Murat Tosun's 10th minute opener for Ankara was cancelled out by Veysel Cihan in the 38th minute.

Egyptian duo Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa and Mohamed Abdullah started for Konya before being subbed in the 87th and 59th minutes respectively.

Konya are still without a win, having two points from three games in 15th place.

In Istanbul, Ibrahim Saied's Ankaragucu were edged 1-0 by Galatasaray courtesy of a goal from Brazilian midfielder Lincoln in the 22nd minute.

Egypt midfielder Saied did not appear for Ankaragucu as he remains to struggle for a first team place.
