Kaka and Milan dominate UEFA awards

European Champions AC Milan have dominated the UEFA ceremony awards by winning four of the five titles of the 2006/2007 UEFA Champions League campaign.

European Champions AC Milan have dominated the UEFA ceremony awards by winning four of the five titles of the 2006/2007 UEFA Champions League campaign.

Brazilian playmaker Kaka was named European club player of the year and best forward.

Captain Paolo Maldini won the best defender award while teammate Clarence Seedorf was chosen as best midfielder beating Andrea Pirlo and Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard.

Chelsea's Petr Cech was the only outsider by winning the goalkeeper award.
