Jordan side Al-Wehdat, led by Egyptian coach Ismaili Youssef, moved closer from a spot in the Asian Confederations Cup (AFC Cup) semi-finals after registering a away 1-0 win over Hong Kong's Sun Hei in Tuesday's AFC Cup quarter-final first leg at Mong Kok Stadium.

Ahmed Abdul-Halim scored the only goal of the game in the 82nd minute to give his side a precious away victory.

"The clean sheet was not the main priority, we came here just to win because it is the first half of the match and we play to win, we needed to win," said Youssef after the match.

"We are always confident in our player's ability to do their best and we did not give up. We tried to control the mood of the match."

The second leg match will be held in two weeks in Amman.
