Zamalek’s Mahmoud Abdul-Razeq ‘Shikabala’ is set for domestic ban after his insulting gestures towards Ahli fans after his side lost 1-0 in the 100th Cairo derby, FilGoal.com understands.

Media reports said that the Egyptian FA will hand Shikabala a huge fine instead of suspension to avoid clash with Zamalek.

But an FA source told FilGoal.com on condition of anonymity that regulations will be respected.

“He will be banned for at least two games and up for six games,” he said. “A fine could be imposed as well.”

Cameras spotted Shikabala with his shoe aloft against Ahli fans after the game after he was subjected to a barrage of insults during the second period.

The gestures triggered quarrel on the pitch between the international playmaker and Ahli defender Ahmed Al-Sayed.

Zamalek fined Shikabala EGP 25.000 in the wake of the incidents.
