Sherif Abdul-Fadil ended speculation on his future as he inked a new deal with Ismaili to cut the road in front of Ahli and Zamalek who have been trying to sign him over the past few months.

The 24-year-old defender will now earn EGP 550 000 per year instead of EGP 200 000.

"We had to readjust his contract as he has been linked with Ahli and Zamalek. Now he signed a new contract and the door is closed," Sports director Abdul Rahman Anous told FilGoal.com.

Meanwhile, Ismaili filed a complaint to the Egyptian Football Association to preserve their legal and financial rights on some of their youth players who joined UAE side Raas Al-Kheima.
