The Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafootonline.com) stated that Bamboutos will not be playing their remaining three games in the league and that all personnel involved were banned.
The verdict came after a bizarre incident in the game between the relegation battlers, which saw Bamboutos manager evidently trying to hand in cash to an opposition player.
The corruption started 20 minutes from time when, according to Fecafootonline.com, Bamboutos captain Koss Roger faked injury and was given a cash envelope by his team's medic.
The two teams were level at 2-2 by that point, but as soon as Roger passed the envelope to Federal's Nkoun A Rim, the latter was obviously involved in Bamboutos' crucial third goal.
However, the incident was reported to Fecafoot by match officials, who clearly realized the events, along with more than 1000 spectators.
The Cameroon football governing body imposed three-year bans on Bamboutos coach Saturnin Anaba and medic Berthelemy Tchio, while players Roger and Nkoun were given two years.
