"I gave a first agreement but that was two months ago. Merrikh offered Ismaili EGP 4 million but Yehial Al-Kumi asked for $1 million and since then the negotiations were put on hold," Sayed Moawad told FilGoal.com.
Daily newspaper Al-Mashahir revealed on Monday that the Merrikh Chairman Gamal Al-Wali concluded the deal with his Egyptian counter part worth $1 million and the money should be transferred within the next few days.
"I know nothing about it," added the 28-year-old player.
Ismaili lost to Merrikh 1-0 in the CAF Confederation Cup last Sunday to get knocked out of the race for the finale game.
