Al-Yamani leaves Ittihad

Ittihad striker Mohamed Al-Yamani claims that the team's poor run of results is due to the manager's prejudice in selecting the squad.

The 25-year-old striker accused manager Mohamed Salah of being biased towards veteran skipper Hossam Hassan, who signed this summer from Tersana.

"It is obvious that Hassan is always preferred no matter what the circumstances are," the Egypt international told FilGoal.com on Saturday.

"I have been working hard in training and I rarely make the matchday squad, while Hassan plays full 90 minutes without even training regularly.

"The situation annoys me and if it remains like that I could leave the club soon or I might even quit the game."

Hassan, 41, is yet to score for the Alexandria-based club, who are currently second from bottom with three points from six games.

Meanwhile, Ittihad midfielder Ahmed Hassan has been ruled out of the team's league clash with Ismaili on Wednesday with a knee injury.
