Jordanian giants Al-Wehdat, coached by former Egypt captain Ismail Youssef, reached the round of 16 in the Arab Champions League (ACL) with a romping 4-1 aggregate victory over Tetuan of Morocco.

Al-Wehdat's 1-0 defeat at home on Saturday didn't have a great impact on the final result after the Jordanians thrashed their opponents 4-0 in the first-leg.

Mohamed Amin scored Tetuan's only goal eight minutes after the hour mark from the spot.

The visitors had several chances to stretch their lead but former Ismaili goalkeeper Amer Shafie made a string of saves to deny an attempt of comeback.

Al-Wehdat play arch-rivals Faisaly on Tuesday in the semi-final of the AFC Cup.
