Totti

Roma crushed visitors Parma 3-0 on Sunday as they made up for successive defeats against Inter Milan and Manchester United.

Captain Francesco Totti didn't waste time as he broke the deadlock two minutes after the kick-off.

Mancini doubled the lead in the 21st minute, leaving Parma with a mountain to climb.

But that wasn't the last of their fears as Bernardo Corradi was shown red five minutes later to let the Romnans get a total control of the game.

Totti, the European Golden Boot winner, hit just seven minutes before time to secure the full points and kill any hopes of comeback.

Roma are now third with 14 points, three behind leaders Inter Milan.

The Italian capital side were crushed 4-1 by Inter Milan in the Serie A before losing to Manchester United 1-0 in the Champions League.

Viola hold Juventus

Elsewhere Juventus failed to close the gab on the Nerazzuri after being held to a 1-1 draw by Fiorentina.

Vincenzo Iaquinta put Juve ahead in the 23rd minute but a 89th minute penalty from Adrian Mutu brought Fiorentina level.

Milan trounce Lazio

AC Milan bounced back from their miserable run of results with a massive 5-1 victory at Lazio.

Massimo Ambrosini opened the scoring for the European champions but his strike was cancelled out by Stefano Mauri.

However, Kaka and Alberto Gilardino run riot on the capital side as both players scored twice to seal the drubbing victory.

Milan are in eighth place with 10 points after seven weeks of the Italian Serie A.
