Belgian champions Anderlecht have been paired with Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Cup group stage draw, which was held in Nyon on Tuesday.

The tough Group G also includes Spain's Getafe, Sweden's Aalborg and Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC of Israel.

The group will witness an encounter between Egypt duo Ahmed Hassan and Hossam Ghaly, even though the latter is yet to play a competitive game for Spurs.

Another Egyptian to play in the UEFA Cup this season is Mohamed Zidan, whose Hamburg SV side will face FC Basel, Rennes, Dinamo Zagreb and Brann in Group D.

Favorites Bayern Munich will be tackled by Premiership side Bolton, SC Braga, Aris Thessaloniki and 1991 champions Red Star Belgrade.
