Germany national team's general manager Oliver Bierhoff issued an ultimatum to keeper Jens Lehman he should regain his starting role at Arsenal if he wants to keep his place in the Mannschaft.

"If he wants to remain our No. 1, he should work hard to regain his place in Arsenal," said Bierhoff.

"If that's not the case, I would advise him to seek a new club where he can play next year. That's his only chance for keeping a place in next year's Euro 2008 squad," added the German official.

Lehman, 37, was sidelined for nearly two months following his elbow surgery and lost his place to first choice Manuel Almunia.

The Mannschaft need a single point from their next two encounters to secure a spot among Europe's elite.
