Egypt have claimed the Military World Games football gold medal after defeating Cameroon 2-0 in Indian city Hyderabad on Saturday.

Ahli striker Osama Hosni opened the scoring as early as the third minute with a powerful header after being set-up by Abdullah Ragab's cross from the left flank.

Abdul-Hamid Bassiouni came off the bench to ensure the victory two minutes into stoppage time after capitalizing on a dreadful error by Cameroon keeper.

Harras Al-Hodoud's Bassiouni has finished the tournament as joint top scorer with six goals along with teammate Hosni.

The Pharaohs won the title for the third time as they clinched the previous two editions in Italy's Catania and Croatian capital Zagreb.
