The corresponding fixture in the 2005 final ended in a goalless draw in Sousse, followed by a 3-0 second-leg victory for Ahli, who clinched the title in style.
However, Al-Badri ruled out the option of a draw at Stade Olympique, despite being aware of his opposition's capabilities.
"We won't go for a draw in Tunisia, we are focused to win the game because it is a title match," the Ahli second man told the club's official web site.
"We know we are facing a tough opponent, but the players are ready for the challenge and there will be no room for mistakes."
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are yet to decide whether to include Angolan full-back Sebastiao Gilberto or not in the squad which will fly to Tunisia on Wednesday.
Gilberto is complaining from a recurring Achilles problem, which he has been struggling with since aggravating the injury at the start of 2006.
"Gilberto's condition is in progress, but he won't feature unless he is 100% fit for the game," Al-Badri added.
Ahli team doctor Ehab Ali conceded that the Angolan international will be subjected to a late fitness test on Tuesday, after which a final decision will be taken.
