UEFA president Michel Platini said he is not a fan of Arsene Wenger's policy of buying potential stars in young age before establishing themselves in their original clubs.
"I do not like the system of Arsene Wenger," the French legend was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"In France, Italy or Spain, it is easy to buy with money the best players at 14, 15 or 16. I don't like that."
Wenger is famous of unearthing young talents, especially from France and Africa, and draft them into his side where they develop to become world class stars.
Patrick Vieira, Thierry Henry, Nicolas Anelka, Kolo Toure and Cesc Fabregas are just a few examples of the work of his hands.
But former Les Bleus captain and European Cup winner Platini believes this is unfair to smaller clubs.
"If my son is playing at Millwall and at 16 Manchester United come in for this player then when will Millwall have a good team?" he wondered.
