Etoile Sahel vice president Jalel Krifa denied all the claims saying that their league defeat against Stade Tunisien will leave some damages before Ahli's crucial clash next Friday in the CAF Champions League final.

"We know how to deal with the case before Ahli's decider," Krifa told daily newspaper Al-Shorouk.

"Big teams don't suffer after defeats because they know how to handle such situations."

The Tunisian league leaders conceded a shock 1-0 home defeat to Stade Tunisien. The result leaves them on top of the table with 19 points three ahead of second-placed Union de Monastir.

Meanwhile, manager Bertrand Marchand has named his squad for the final and it didn't include defenders Mehdi Meriha and Seif Ghazala, who are banned from this game, in addition to injured Magdi Ben Mohamed.

The squad:

Ayman Mathlouthi, Nadim Sabet, Saber Ben Frej, Hatem Bijaoui, Radwan Felhi, Mohamed Ali Nafkha, Moussa Narry, Magdi Traore, Afouene Gharbi, Muri Ogunbiyi, Khaled Melliti, Gilson Silva, Amin Shermiti, Sadat Bukari, Ayman Soultani, Bassam Shoushan, Mohamed Khemiri, Mehdi Dhifallah.
