Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Shafi resigned from his job as a manager of Suez Cement following the disastrous 8-0 defeat against Petrojet on Tuesday.

"That's it and my decision is final," Zizo told a TV show after the game.

"The players don't have any motivations or enthusiasm and the team can't improve with such men," added the former Ahli star.

"If you are in a Playstation game, you would have more desire to win than those players today."

Meanwhile, the team's skipper Adel Mostafa blamed his teammates for this huge defeat.

"The coach has nothing to do with such a defeat, its a problem within the team members," said Mostafa.

"I never suffered such a humiliation. It's a shame and we deserve nothing better. The atmosphere in the dressing room is terrible."

Suez Cement lie at the bottom of the table with only six points from 10 games.
