The Reds run riot on the hapless Turkish side at Anfield on Tuesday to set a record high-scoring victory for Europe's top club competition.
"Porto now have to come to Anfield in the next match and they will be worried by this," said the Liverpool boss after the game.
"The rest of Europe will also be aware of what we have done.
"But in the end we still have to win those last two games, regardless of how many goals we scored this time, we can beat Porto next, and our supporters will also have confidence in us too."
Despite the massive win, Liverpool are still no way near reaching the next round, as they are four points off leaders Porto and three adrift of second-placed Marseille.
Besiktas reaction
Besiktas chairman Yildirim Demiroren was quick to react to his side's humiliating defeat, after he hinted that the result may cost some players their place in the team.
"We may have to part ways with some of our players. Besiktas' interests come above everything else," the Besiktas president told daily Hurriyet newspaper.
"We will have our board of directors meeting on Monday and we will act according to their decision."
The Anfield defeat added to Besiktas' woes as the Turkish Super Lig team were beaten 2-1 by arch rivals Fenerbahce at the weekend.
