Spanish daily Marca said on Thursday that Milan are planning to sign the prominent defender, who can play as a full-back or at the heart of the defense.

"It is something great when such a big team as Milan are interested but I'm staying here at Real.

"I'm very happy in Madrid and I don't see why I consider leaving."

Ramos, 21, joined Real Madrid from Sevilla in 2005 and made 77 appearances for the Blanco so far.
