The Egypt stopper, who joined Konya from Gencler in 2005, signed a new deal with his former club that should keep him until 2009.
"I signed a contact with Gencler and I will join the team next January until 2009," Al-Saqqa told FilGoal.com.
Al-Saqqa's signature comes three days after the former Mansoura defender agreed to terminate his contract with Konya by mutual consent.
The veteran defender, who was team captain at Konya, said that Gencler officials agreed to give him the skipper's armband as well.
Gencler are in 16th place in the Turkish Super Lig with just nine points from 11 games, and Al-Saqqa will have to work hard in order to get the team out of the relegation zone.
