The Catalans' last away victory in the Primera Liga came at the expense of Levante late in September when they romped to a crushing 4-1 victory.
Since then, they never enjoyed good days on the road. Portuguese playmaker Deco, who is sidelined through injury, revealed the formula for recovery.
"Our big problem is away matches. We have to realise that teams play another way. They’re more aggressive and don’t respect you so much," Deco told the club's official website.
"On the other hand, when they come to the Camp Nou they’re not like that. When they play at home they’re not afraid to attack, they’re more comfortable.
"You need to work harder than them. We have to be mentally prepared in order to know what we will find."
Injuries Effect
Deco doesn't think the injuries have affected the team too much.
The former Porto man is being treated for a leg injury and Samuel Eto'o is also missing due to a thigh problem.
"It’s normal but I don’t think it should be that way. We have a great squad and great players."
"I’ve always said that I miss the injured players because it leaves the coach with fewer options. But I don’t think the problem lies here. We have very good people," he added.
