Kuyt robbed

Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt has joined the list of Reds' players that have seen their houses burgled in the space of 18 months.

It was confirmed that the Dutchman's home in Woolton district has been targeted on Thursday while he was on international duty with Holland.

A Liverpool spokesman said: "We don’t know exactly what was taken but his home was broken into."

Fifth Victim

During last year's Champions League semi-final game against Chelsea, goalkeeper Jose Reina's house was robbed, his Porsche was taken and found burnt in West Derby.

Striker Peter Crouch and defender Daniel Agger also joined the list as their houses were burgled last September, with the latter losing a BMW and a Cadillac.

In June 2006, former goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, who is believed to be the most devastated victim of all, had his Merseyside home ransacked as well.

The Polish goalkeeper's £65,000 Porsche Carrera was stolen, in addition to some jewelry and his 2005 Champions League gold medal.
