Egyptian defender Amir Azmi has been cleared to move away from Al-Shabab but that his new club should negotiate with the Saudi giants to get his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

“The clubs don’t owe the players. Some of them think that they possess all their rights and that isn’t true and there should be negotiations between both sides,” the member of the disciplinary committee Jim Boyce told Saudi newspaper Al-Watan.

“Soccer is their job and the club’s should take that in consideration,” added Boyce.

Azmi filed a complaint against Al-Shabab accusing them of denying him from training with the team and neither giving him his ITC so he could move away.

On the other side Al-Shabab bosses hit back at him claiming that he didn’t attend the team’s pre-season campaign despite being registered in the team’s squad.
