"Ankaragucu complained for just one purpose. They want to justify their impending refusal to give me my dues," Saied told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.

"Their action will not have any effect on my participation with Egypt. I can join the national team any time without problems."

Saied is likely to earn a call-up to Egypt's squad for the African Cup of Nations in Ghana, which starts on January 20th.

The 28-year-old has recently decided to leave Ankaragucu after falling out with the club's board.

He announced that he is close to joining Tunisian side Club Africain in the January transfer window after failing in his attempt to secure a move to his former team Ahli.
