Dacourt injury adds to Inter's woes

Inter Milan midfielder Olivier Dacourt could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after he injured his knee during the Nerazzurri's 2-0 at Fiorentina on Sunday.

Inter's official site confirmed that the French midfielder damaged collateral knee ligaments and medial meniscus, and he is set for arthroscopic surgery.

Dacourt's injury mounts Roberto Mancini's midfield problems, as key duo Dejan Stankovic and Patrick Vieira have been also struggling with long-term injuries this season.

Apart from the injury list, the Italian champions are set to miss suspended trio Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Nicolas Burdisso and Walter Samuel ahead of Wednesday's Serie A clash with Lazio.
