Ittihad coach Mohamed Salah said he will sue midfielder Hesham Hanafi after the latter accused him of accepting money from players to select them in the starting line-up.
"I hope the technical staff members support me in this case," Salah told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.
Hanafi caused controversy after questioning Salah's choices to field players who don't train on regular basis.
He went further in his accusations, claiming that the former Masri manager receives money for playing the out-of-favor men.
Hanafi's claims infuriated Salah, who insists he will not continue his work unless the 34-year-old's actions are investigated by the club.
The Alexandria-based club summoned Hanafi to a hearing, which was due on Wednesday, but the former Ahli man showed up late.
As a result, Ittihad decided to postpone it to a later date. Hanafi won't be able to take part in training until justifying his words.
