Iraqi international duo Emad Mohamed and Abdul-Wahab Abu Al-Hail scored three goals for Iranian side Sepahan to register a 3-1 win over OFC Champions Waitakere United in the Club World Cup opener, on Friday.

Mohamed stuck twice, in only two minutes, to give his side an early 2-0 lead after only five minutes.

Abu-Hail made it 3-0 from a long-range shot two minutes after the break while Darren Bazeley scored a 73rd minute consolation goal for New Zealand outfit.

Sepahan qualified to the quarter-finals and will meet the AFC Champions Urawa Reds and the winner will face European Champions Milan in the semi-final.
