The Ahli-bound stopper revealed that the Qatari side's main goal is survival in the Premier league as he believes the team is moving steadily towards their main goal.

"The Arabi defeat did not influence the team's morale, I think we are still on course to reach our main goal, which is avoiding relegation," Gomaa told Sayliya's official site.

"We have no problems and we are ready for the next game."

Sayliya will face highflying leaders Al-Gharrafa on Monday.

The newly-promoted side is currently in third place, but they are only five points off the relegation zone.
