Abdullah to Zamalek
Konyaspor midfielder Mohamed Abdullah indicated that he is on brink of joining Zamalek in the January transfer window.

The unsettled winger's exit from the Turkish side has become imminent after he lost his place in the team's starting XI.

"I agreed terms with Zamalek, the deal is about to be completed during the next couple of days," he told FilGoal.com on Monday.

The former Ahli winger rejected an offer from the Reds' arch rivals last summer, as he claimed that he wanted to carry on with his 'European career'.

However, the departure of former manager Nurullah Saglam as well as Egypt teammate Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa made life at Konya difficult for Abdullah.
