Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed that the dispute between Carlos Tevez and Cristiano Ronaldo over the spot kick against Derby Country last Saturday, was nothing serious.

"It would have been great to see Tevez scoring his first hat-trick for United. But I also understand Ronaldo's position because he is the number one specialist," the Scot told the Daily Mail on Tuesday.

The Argentinean striker scored two goals helping the Red Devils to a 3-1 lead and wished to score the last minute penalty to get his first hat-trick at Old Trafford.

But Cristiano Ronaldo insisted to get his shot and increased his tally to nine goals leading the Premier League scorers' chart. Tevez have three goals less.
