Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf helped AC Milan reaching the Club World Cup for the first time by scoring the winner in the 1-0 win over Urawa Reds on Thursday.

The European Champions will face Argentinean and South American Champions Boca Juniors, who beat Etoile du Sahel, in the Final on Sunday.

Milan had the best of chances as Andrea Pirlo’s free kick was saved by the keeper and Massimo Ambrosini’s effort went inches next to the post.

Kaka, the 2007 Ballon d’Or, played some of his magic as he beat his marker and crossed from nearly the end line to Seedorf who controlled the ball magnificently and fired it into the back of the net in the 68th minute.

Milan are hoping to end the South American domination as Brazilians Corinthians (2000), Sao Paolo (2005) and Internacional (2006) won the previous titles.
