Tersana have registered a 1-0 victory over close rivals Aluminum in the 14th matchday of the Egyptian league on Saturday.

Striker Reda Metwalli scored what proved to be the winner in the 17th minute to give Farouk Gaafar's men a crucial victory in their relegation battle.

Tersana jump four places to lie 10th with 15 points, while Aluminum freeze at 14 points in 13th place.

Newly-promoted Aluminum have not won a single game from their last eight, since a 1-0 win over Ghazl Mahalla in September.
