Manager Robert Nouzaret has announced his squad on Friday and said he picked only regular starters.
Johnson, 24, is one of the Dervishes’ key players in midfield and has featured in most of their games if not injured or banned.
Frenchman Nouzaret surprisingly omitted former Arsenal and Olympique de Marseille striker Kaba Diawara.
"I have chosen players who are better than him at the moment," the former Ivory Coast coach Nouzaret told reporters after his announcement.
