Feyenoord, where Egyptian goalie Sherif Ekrami plays, dropped to the second place after being held to a 1-1 away draw against Heerenveen on Sunday in the Eredivisie.

The visitors broke the deadlock after only 16 minutes through Andwele Slory's header but the hosts snatched a point with a late strike from Gerald Sibon, 89.

Ekrami was out of the score sheet as usually. The result leaves Feyenoord with 36 points, just like PSV Eindhoven who climbed to the summit courtesy of a better goal difference.

This is while Ajax continued their struggle as they were held to a 2-2 by minnows VVV Venlo.
