Ahli land Tersana's Samir

Ahli have completed the signing of midfielder Mahmoud Samir from Tersana on a four-year deal worth EGP 2,650,000, Ahli announced on their official site on Monday.

The transfer was finally agreed after the Reds raised their bid from EGP 2M to EGP 2.6M for the highly rated playmaker.

The 24-year-old will train with the team on Wednesday before starting his new challenge next week in the Egyptian Cup.

Samir is the third player to join the league holders after Sheffield United's Ahmed Fathi and Baladeya's Hani Al-Egeizi.
