Cameroon were forced to call off their pre-African Cup of Nations training camp in Kenya for security reasons, BBC Sport reported.

Riots escalated allover Kenya after tense presidential elections, leading to the death of at least 124.

Consequently, Manager Otto Pfister, who chose Kenya due to high altitude, has confirmed that the team will be heading to Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso instead.

The new camp is scheduled between January 4th and 14th, the Indomitable Lions will then return home to Yaounde for two days, before flying to Kumasi for the big event.

Cameroon will start their Ghana 2008 campaign by facing holders Egypt in Group C, which also contains Sudan and Zambia.
