Gerrard: No blame for Riise

Steven Gerrard grabbed a hat-trick as Liverpool cruised to a 5-0 FA Cup third round win over third division Luton Town, in Jamie Carragher's 500th game for the Reds.

Ryan Babel and Sami Hyypia were also on the scoresheet, as both teams formed a guard of honor for former England defender Carragher.

The combative center-half, who is vice-captain after Gerrard, has scored no more than three goals during his 14-year career at Anfield so far.

Elsewhere, Robbie Keane's winner gave Tottenham Hotspur a 1-0 victory over Reading, creating a crunch tie against Manchester United.
