Tunisia assistant coach Nabil Maaloul said he is satisfied with his side's 2-2 draw with Senegal in the African Cup of Nations on Wednesday.

"Senegal are one of the top teams in Africa, but we matched them well throughout the match," he said after the match.

"We are pleased with the draw," the former Club Africain coach told Arab and Radio Television (ART).

Tunisia went ahead early in the game through Issam Jemaa before Moustapha Sall drew Senegal level just before halftime.

Diomansy Kamara added the second for the Teranga Lions six minutes past the hour mark before Mejdi Traoui secured the valuable equalizer eight minutes from time.

"The substitutions coach Roger Lemerre made in the second-half played a key role in helping us claim the equalizer. We ended up with three strikers," he added.
